From November 5 to December 17, 2011, 14 scientists, 14 engineers, and 21 crew will sail to the Western Pacific Ocean near 20°N, 160°E to measure the magnetism, bathy- metry, gravity, and structure of the Jurassic seafloor to investigate the history of the Earth's geomagnetic field.
