THE KUTZTOWN M.A. IN ARTS ADMINISTRATION

Kutztown University’s M.A. in Arts Administration offers working professionals the opportunity to explore the most pressing, yet exciting challenges facing arts administrators today. Enhance your skills in leadership, marketing, fundraising, civic engagement - all while preparing for the next step in your professional journey. Taught jointly by Kutztown University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts and its College of Business, this graduate program is ideal for anyone interested in the field of arts administration.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate application
    For full consideration, complete application by August 1 for Fall admission or December 1 for Spring admission.
  • Undergraduate degree in any discipline
  • $35 application fee
  • Official transcripts from previously attended colleges or universities
  • Resumé
  • Letters of recommendation are optional
  • Core courses are taught 100% online. Electives may include a mix of online, hybrid, traditional, or independent study. All candidates accepted into this program must complete all requirements within six calendar years.

Kutztown University is uniquely positioned in close proximity to cities with vibrant arts legacies, including Philadelphia, New York and Washington D.C. as well as Allentown, Lancaster and Reading—regional leaders in Pennsylvania. Students are supported in their effort to establish professional relationships through internships, research projects, independent study, and career development interactions.  

FLEXIBILITY

All core courses are taught online while electives can be taken on campus, in a blended format, or fully online. Coursework is designed to align with your specific interests, offering opportunities for independent studies and internships.
